Midwestern USA
Macrotek Inc., a global air pollution control expert, was recently awarded a design and supply contract for two landfill gas cleanup projects in the Midwestern United States. Macrotek will utilize its proprietary SULFCAT® regenerative technology to clean up landfill gas to pipeline quality.
SULFCAT is an innovative technology that efficiently removes Hydrogen Sulphide from a variety of industrial gas streams using a regenerative reagent.
For the landfill gas projects, the clean gas will be used to generate clean power. The projects will provide for negative C02.
After its conception in 2010, Macrotek has been continuously perfecting SULFCAT to its effectiveness today. The project ads to Macrotek’s growing list of SULFCAT installations and reinforces the confidence customers have in the SULFCAT process based on proven results.
The landfill gas cleanup project is currently in the fabrication stage with expected completion in May 2022. The systems are expected to be operational in the third quarter of 2022.
