Installation in Progress of Macrotek’s Gas Cleanup System in Kazakhstan

Macrotek Inc., global supplier of air pollution control and product recovery, has designed and delivered a complete gas cleanup system for a nickel mine start-up in Kazakhstan.

The project is a joint venture between the Kazakh government and a major Canadian uranium processor.

Macrotek has designed and supplied several gas cleanup systems for uranium yellow cake calciners and building ventilation and has a proven track record in the field.

The system for this project is designed to remove sub-micron particulate, ammonia, SO2 and sulfuric acid.

The system has been completed and is currently being installed.
