Macrotek Acquires Contract for Complete Gas Cleanup System Packages for Major Potash Processing Complex

Macrotek Inc., global air pollution control expert, has announced the receipt of an extensive gas cleanup systems contract for a major multinational mining company in Western Canada’s potash industry.
The scope of the project includes the design and supply of complete pollution control systems for multiple packages. Packages comprise of five wet dust collection systems, multiple dry baghouse systems, proprietary Venturi scrubbers for product dryers, as well as acid tank vent absorbers.
Each of the packages ranges from $3-10 million.
Engineering for the project will be complete by the end of 2019 with fabrication starting in 2020.
