Macrotek Awarded Major Multimillion Dollar Gas Cleanup Contract in Eastern Canada

Macrotek Inc., global gas cleanup and product recovery expert, has been awarded a large-scale contract to supply a range of its equipment to a lithium mining facility in Eastern Canada.

Macrotek has been working with the customer since the planning stages a number of years ago and will design and supply its cyclone, quench, venturi, separator, packed bed scrubber, WESP, fans, stack, skid mounted pump and heat exchanger package to the facility.

The equipment will remove dust and acid gas contaminants (HCl, HF, H2SO4) from process gas before it’s exhausted to the atmosphere.

The mine is one of the largest of its kind in the world.

Delivery is expected in the first quarter of 2024.
