Macrotek Delivers Fully Integrated Pollution Control System for Large Waste-to-Energy Project

Macrotek Inc., global supplier of air pollution control and product recovery, has designed and supplied fully integrated and customized solutions for one of the largest waste-to-energy projects in the world.
Macrotek’s innovative Cyclone, Spray tower, and Eductors provide gas conditioning and cleanup of pyrolysis produced gas including condensation of bio-extract and bio-oil, as well as dust removal.
The project will also include gas conditioning and cleanup of thermal oxidizer off-gas including SO2, mist, and dust removal using a variety of Macrotek’s integrated solutions, such as its cyclone, spray tower, packed bed scrubber, mist eliminator and stack.
Macrotek has been an early collaborator in numerous bioenergy projects worldwide as the need for organic waste diversion grows.
The equipment will be fully delivered by the end of February and installed over the next two months.
