Macrotek Inc. Delivers Skid-Mounted Air Pollution Control System for Carbon Capture Pilot Project
February 4, 2026
Canada
Macrotek Inc. has successfully delivered a skid-mounted air pollution control system for a carbon capture pilot project at a Canadian industrial facility. The system is currently in operation and will be relocated to other test sites as part of ongoing pilot demonstrations.
The equipment, including a quench, eductor, and packed bed scrubber, is designed to remove particulate matter and SOx while sub-cooling flue gas. Delivered as a fully integrated unit on a single skid, the system demonstrates Macrotek’s ability to provide compact, high-performance solutions for pilot and demonstration projects.
Following the successful delivery of this pilot unit in October 2025, Macrotek has secured a contract for a second skid-mounted system that will be installed in Europe, further expanding its role in supporting industrial carbon capture initiatives.
