Macrotek Receives Multiple Contracts for Gas Cleanup Systems

Macrotek Inc., a Canadian air pollution control company, has received multiple orders for pollution control equipment from a global pulp and paper and biomaterials manufacturer.

The contracts consist of scrubber vessels for fume tanks, including HCl and conditioning process vents for the removal and neutralization of acids and other contaminants.

Macrotek will incorporate its innovative scrubbing technologies in the form of a counter current packed column and spray towers specifically designed for the application.

The equipment is being custom designed for a new multimillion dollar biochemical processing facility being built in the U.S. Fabrication of the scrubbers is set to begin this month.
