Macrotek Wins Additional Contract in Precious Metal Recovery Industry
June 4, 2015
Toronto, Ontario
International air pollution control provider, Macrotek Inc., has announced the securement of a contract for phase one, engineering from one of the world’s most recognized precious metal refineries. The contract marks Macrotek’s sixth major project in the precious metal recovery industry.
Macrotek will provide a complete gas cleanup system for the U.S. based refinery. The scope includes Macrotek’s innovative MVA Venturi Scrubber for particulate and product recovery, as well as a packed column for acid gas recovery and neutralization.
A unique aspect of Macrotek’s requirements for this project is that particulate removal efficiencies of the Macrotek MVA are well below regulatory levels, and instead, are driven by product recovery targets. Macrotek’s experience with similar projects within the industry will be a valuable asset in exceeding the company’s objectives.
