Successful Start-Up and Commissioning of Macrotek Gas Cleanup Systems at Demonstration Plant

Gas cleanup specialist, Macrotek Inc., has successfully designed and supplied pollution control equipment for a critical minerals processing facility in Eastern Canada.

Macrotek has supplied three of its high efficiency Venturi Scrubbers with skid-mounted pump packages, and fans to the facility. The equipment will provide gas cleanup for particulate generated from fluid beds before being exhausted to the atmosphere.

The customer’s aim is to develop a technology to substantially decrease greenhouse gas emissions compared to current technologies.

The Government of Canada has invested millions of dollars in projects such as this, and Macrotek has been a reliable partner in the effort to reduce greenhouse gas emissions worldwide.

Startup and commissioning occurred in end of February 2023.
